I am delighted that I can confirm to any of those interested that the Wam Show for this year has been announced and confirmed details can be seen on the link below . It is scheduled for Sunday 29th October close to Barnsley . I think all those that attended the last show 2022 in Stoke had hoped that we could go back and make that a long term venue , but the UK Gov had other ideas and have taken over the hotel for Asylum Seekers . A long hard search was then again on the the Show Team and they have found and booked a new venue . This show is very different to all other Shows in that there will be little if any selling going on apart from perhaps Vinyl . Most of the rooms will be taken up by people like me using a home system often rather stranger than most but hopefully sounding really good . Put the details in your diaries and if you can come and listen to some great music (remember to bring your own ) on some great systems . The form for wanting a room to exhibit is also now open and anyone who wants to can apply , no financial commitment at this time . Prices are still to be set but given the current speed of progress I would imagine it would be close to the end of Jan and things will be clear.

Just to update things as this was quite a while ago . All things are in place now and most of the rooms are confirmed . Advance ticket sales are now live so anyone who wants to get tickets is able to do so . I will be having a room again this year and it will be 240 . Anyone that attends please come in and say hello , I make apologies in advance for anyone who calls and finds me distracted like at Stoke I had major internet issues that meant at first I only had CD replay and a very limited number of CD,s that I was able to buy at the show . John then stepped in and I was able to stream Qobuz from his account . Hopefully this year the hotel wifi will work and I can have my own Music Server working . This year I am taking my two way active system using Linn Sara 9 speakers and Quad 405 amplifiers . It may sound a little different than many would think . I am also going to bring along my Mutec and LB clock and use with this system for the first time which will be fun at least for me . show.hifiwigwam.com/
