That is intriguing. Funnily enough I’m off for lunch next Weds with a small group of old school friends. As we left school in ‘75 there may be a number wandering round looking confused. Anyway.. I have a fixed train at 6:45 from Euston, so I was wondering how I might fill in an hour or two. I’ll pop into this. Looks really interesting

That was an enjoyable read. Interesting how memories of certain listening sessions with certain kit can ignite the imagination of how we might enjoy music in another scenario far removed from our daily context. And that imagination is part of the the aesthetic enjoyment in this hobby. Or maybe that's just me.
Less wordy version: a well written piece can evoke both our memories and our imagination so we enjoy the musical experience going on all in our head.
