After what seems an age, I finally ordered and have looked at a couple of room acoustic goodies too, all with the bosses permission (thanks for the info Tony). This will give me a chance to make any spiders homeless, as will sort out a few cables behind the rack (as they are out of site and out of mind)

I went for the Amphion &LS in black/black grills Were they the ones you originally wanted or have you gone off piste? After listening to a couple of others, Canton and ATC, I kept coming back to Amphion, and went with them as liked the sound signature. So going from the 3 LS to the 7LS

Well er...............................the big one for me possibly in four weeks if the kidney acceptance sale goes through is one of the best ultimate audio bullshite dectors and top two signal anaylsers on the planet Keysight's 9040B UXA.
Audio is pretty well covered these days, even the Wadax front as stunning as it is left me feeling, meh. Does this pairing deliver multiple 'O's at 600 years on a cold , damp day in Margate as superb as it is NO, money better invested in big box with a few psch buttons and RF connectors with 15 inch screen, doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the Wadax lol, however it has other properties which are far more desirable. plus I can place the new set of Wera anti static nut spinners on there

WTF was that all about? Actually no, I don't want to know!

I have to say Jerry that is the problem with 170+ IQ groups, Schrödinger's cat, dark matter and the uncertancy prinicple is an everyday occurance for you Brian Cox types, for the rest of us mere mortals the above is just an everyday thing
Questions for one of know's; your thoughts on is this universe is this just an experiment & that we are all lab rats? The big bang was just the starting gun NOT the point of the beginning of exsistance?
Does Loop quantum gravity really reconcile the standard model with E's generally relativity?
You thoughts thoughts on dark energy? Its not some mystical form of force devised by those evil minded manipulates @ Salisbury? or is this (like a lot of audio) something that is just begining to be discovered Jerry?

Loop quantum gravity. Ah, well. Cute idea, but it's a looong way off of proven, or even, once you scale it up, shown to be consistent with the universe as we see it. Definitely a work in progress, which will probably be proven wrong. Good article about it here www.space.com/loop-quantum-gravity-space-time-quantized"Loop quantum gravity is incomplete, and it may not work out. Just like its cousin string theory, which also claims to be a quantum theory of gravity, the mathematics of loop quantum gravity aren't revealing any workable solution. Some future scientist could crack the code, paving the way to a full understanding of the force gravity. Or, we could just be … wait for it … going in circles."

My thoughts on this subject as well Jerry. String theory another 'interesting' section of theorised cosmic Oxbridge & Caltech debating chanbers.

I have read the pieces and various papers on this, hence why I felt your clear thoughts on this would prove a better presepective. Again not to be too samey (lol) on this, my feelings here is there is so much we really do not know let along grasp on this matter.
